Croatia diary 1

Sometimes the things that you plan the least work out for the best, and this was definitely one of those cases. I decided to join my parents on this trip to Croatia in the last minute and we ended up having so much fun and spending a couple of unforgettable days on the Croatian seacoast. Even if the main purpose of the trip was David Gilmore’s concert in Pula( whom they’ve been loving as long as they remember themselves), we managed to do everything from swimming in the Adriatic sea, to riding a motor boat and of course city tripping. Our first stop was Zagreb, and even though we arrived late we went for a nice typical Croatian dinner and a walk around town. On this first night I knew right away that I’m going to love this country, seeing all the little bars and clubs full of cool people dancing and having fun. The next morning we took a bigger walk around the historical center of the city and were even more amazed by the beauty of this city.

H&M Studio A/W 2015

H&M studio newest

The H&M Studio A/W 2015 collection from their show in Paris during fashion week already hit stores, so here are some pieces from it that I would bring home with me right away! I’m so loving the camouflage colours, and burgundy has always been one of my favourites. I am lucky to live in a city where the Studio collections  and the designer collaborations (can’t wait for Balmain for H&M!!!) are actually available in stores, so you can take your time, feel the pieces, try them on and have some fun 😉

Istanbul diary day 3

DSC_2193

This was our last day in beautiful Istanbul. First we went to the Topkapi palace (this time for real :D) and I was amazed by all the beautiful tile motives and patterns. We then walked around the park, which offers a stunning view over the Bosphorus. It is one of the most touristic places in Istanbul hence very crowded, so we sat in the Sultanahmet district after for a well deserved rest and lunch.

We spent the afternoon in the famous Grand Bazar, where I just wanted to full my bags with glas and cashmere scarves and bring them all with me to Vienna. We met with our friend TJ who was so kind to show us around. After unsuccessfully searching for men’s earrings (apparently not very popular in Turkey) we went to the leather section, where we spend way too much time and both boys couldn’t go with empty hands. I believe there is a new performance signature style coming up for Alive N’Kickin’s frontman 😀

There is so much that we did not get to see, for example we didn’t even get to the Asian part of the city, which we heard was even the most interesting one right now. We definitely did fall in love with the city so I’m sure we’ll be back very soon!
